Hi Peggy. Willie is lively. He doesn't join me in the workshop--I can't watch him and paint; he gets into everything. I have to lie to him and say "I'm going to work." Otherwise he just sits at the backdoor--waiting.
Merry Christmas Don. That was a great gift you painted for Laura--I'm sure she was surprised.
Hi Hallie...now it's time to send out HAPPY NEW YEAR greetings...Willie is a doll-face!!
I lie to my dogs too...I also say 'Gotta go to work' as I head down the two stairs from the kitchen into my zone...they immediately settle in...waiting as only a pup can do.
Hi Donna. You're right, the New Year is upon us. I reviewed what I did last year; I'm proudest that saying "no" has become easier. Willie thinks we work a lot; that's because we can't say the words "workshop", "post office", or "store."
Hi Mary. We do love all our dogs to pieces and let them run the house. When our 12 year-old bichon Daisy died four years ago we were lost. We found Willie and I had totally forgotten about sleepless nights with new puppies. Our neighbors were debating about becoming dog-owners; after getting to know Willie, they changed their minds--they just visit us and laugh. We fenced the yard for Willie but he won't go out unless we accompany him (he forces us out into the fresh air). I look forward to your work.
Thank you, Eva. Santa brought some toys for Willie so I got a chance to play. Actually, I had fashioned some unstuffed dog toys (foxes) into a stole and wore them to a Christmas party (I squeaked when I got a hug). On Christmas Day they were given to Willie and neighborhood dogs.
Willie is SO SWEET!!! Thanks for the beautiful sentiment. Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteHi Pam. Willie is sweet and likes to help with everything around the house. Every chore now takes twice as long. Hope it's a great day at your house.
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas hwf...Willie is a cute Christmas helper!
ReplyDeleteQu'il est mignon!
ReplyDeleteTrès bonnes fêtes de fin d'année à vous, joie et bonheur !

Hi Hallie, Merry Christmas! Willie looks like a fun pup; most photogenic. He's cute! Does he get to go to the studio? I imagine he'd be a BIG help!
ReplyDeleteNow I see why Santa was late getting to our house in 2007... Thankfully, he made it here in time this year.
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas!

Celeste, I hope you had a great Holiday.
ReplyDeleteWeekend. Thank you for the comment; I hope you stayed warm during the Holiday.

Willie is beautiful, Hallie. You must love him to pieces. I look forward to your art in the New Year when you "go to work."

How precious! Just a 'love' and that what Christmas is all about.
